The Vipin Agrawal Memorial Scholarship Fund provides scholarships to students from low-income and immigrant backgrounds. In order to create diversity in the industry and spark new innovations, it is important to platform diverse undergraduate students.
VAMSF annually awards scholarships to two high school seniors and/or current college students who have the following qualifications:
- Attending a California state university, either CSU and UC school systems, AND went to a California high school
- Pursuing an undergraduate degree in computer science, science, technology, engineering, or medicine.
- They or their parents immigrated to the United States
- Annual household income of less than $75,000
- A GPA of 3.0 or higher
The scholarship includes $2000 a year for all four years of the student’s college career. The application is currently closed.
Note: to apply, you will need to have your high school transcripts, SAR (Student Aid Report) form, as well as responses to two essay prompts.
